This training will help early childhood and school-age educators, administrators, and other personnel implement strategies on how to guide children’s behavior in positive ways. They will learn how to set up an environment that minimizes challenging behaviors from the start and how to teach children appropriate social behaviors, both explicitly and implicitly. Participants will also learn how to set limits on and with the children in their care and how to consistently enforce developmentally appropriate consequences with the goal of teaching children new skills instead of punishment.
