Who can own and operate a child care center?
Anyone can become the owner of a child care center. However, if you would like to be the child care administrator for the program, there are requirements that you need to meet. What skills do I need to become a child care center administrator?
This person needs to have a strong commitment to children and families and knowledge of child development, nutrition, organization skills and basic understanding of business management. You must be able to hire staff and communicate with staff and parents.
